About the Role
The Rehabilitation Assistant supports the rehabilitation team in delivering high-quality patient care. This role works closely with veterinarians and rehabilitation therapists to assist with therapy sessions, patient handling, and clinic operations while helping create a positive and supportive experience for pets and their families.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist rehabilitation therapists and veterinarians with therapy sessions and patient care
- Safely handle and support patients during rehabilitation exercises and treatments
- Prepare therapy areas and equipment for patient treatments
- Monitor patients during therapy sessions and communicate observations to the clinical team
- Maintain a clean and organized therapy environment
- Support teammates across departments as needed to ensure excellent patient and client experiences
- Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients and team members
Qualifications
- Experience working in the veterinary field or animal service industry preferred
- Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of low-stress handling techniques
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Self-motivated with a strong interest in learning and professional development
- Able to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Passion for supporting patient care and building relationships with clients and teammates
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including walking, standing, crouching, and kneeling throughout the day

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
